G-Dragon’s hit song “Crooked’ has been included in the new movie “Steel Rain”.

The newly released promo video of the movie starts off at the house of a former agent of the North Korean intelligence Eom Chul-Woo (actor Jung Woo-sung) who is hostile towards South Korean music. To the question by his young daughter, “Father, have you heard of GD?” Eom Chul-Woo gets confused and then asks a senior member of the South Korean security services, Kwak Chul-Woo (Actor Kwak Do-won), “Hey, do you know GD?”. Kwak Chul-Woo replies, “I do know. If you don’t know him (GD) then you’re a spy. Did you come here as a spy?”

Regarding the process of including G-Dragon’s song, Director Yang Woosuk revealed, “I’m aware that they’re strictly regulating on the consumption of South Korean culture in North Korea. However for G-Dragon, he is a very famous star so I thought even North Korean people will know him and that’s how we planned the story.”
