G-Dragon kicked off his 2017 Japan dome tour on Saturday.
On August 19, the K-pop superstar held his “Act III: M.O.T.T.E 2017 World Tour” concert for two hours in front of 50,000 fans who filled the Yahuoku! Dome in Fukuoka with yellow lights. The set list consisted of his biggest hits including Heartbreaker, One of a Kind, Crooked, Crayon, and Untitled, 2014.
G-Dragon’s concert also served as a birthday party for the star, with a gigantic cake being rolled up to celebrate the occasion.
He also talked about BIGBANG’s anniversary and said “It’s been eleven years since BIGBANG’s debut. I wouldn’t have been here if it weren’t for you. Thank you.”
G-Dragon is currently on his solo world tour and will be holding concerts in a total of 29 cities around the world: nine in Asia, eight in North America, four in Oceania, five in Europe, and three in Japan.
Meanwhile, it was announced that BIGBANG will be having a “BIGBANG JAPAN DOME TOUR 2017 – LAST DANCE”, which will make the group the first foreign act to go on a dome tour in Japan for five consecutive years.
