Since Jackson is also a Fendi model, maybe we can get a Jackson and Taeyang collab? Pretty please?

Word has been going around in recent weeks that BIGBANG’s Taeyang is working on his long-awaited solo comeback. While this has not yet been confirmed or denied by YG, we can confirm that the singer has been busy with other projects, the latest of which involves the fashion brand Fendi!

The BIGBANG singer will make his fashion industry debut by partnering up with Fendi to design an exclusive capsule collection line, titled “Fendi for Taeyang.”

With an array of T-shirts, jackets, hoodies, accessories, and sneakers – all of which feature that unique Taeyang flavour – there’s a lot to love in the singer’s Fendi collection. Having said that, our wallets will not be loving it because prices range anywhere between USD$447 to USD$9,490, so rocking swag designed by Taeyang certainly won’t be cheap!

Fendi Taps K-Pop Star Taeyang for Capsule Collection

In yet another demonstration of the appeal of the Korean pop star in the fashion industry, Fendi has tapped one of Big Bang’s most fashion-forward members, Taeyang, to collaborate on a capsule collection and campaign, entitled, “Fendi for TaeYang.”

The collection consists of jackets, hoodies, t-shirts and accessories (including pouches, backpacks, sneakers and key charms, most of which are adorned with keywords, such as “Faith,” “Grace,” “Saved” and “Passion,” are introduced on black shearling jackets and on bombers with rubberized detailing, in addition to black oversized t-shirts showcasing both the slogans in white and daisy details, per WWD.

The collection will debut in Hong Kong on July 27 with prices ranging from 400 euros for the key chains to 8,500 euros for the shearling jackets. It will also be available for pre-orders on the label’s official web site starting from July.

Tapping K-pop stars for campaigns and collabs, as Chanel (which tapped G-Dragon as a brand ambassador last year), Alexander Wang (who has taken a liking to both 2NE1’s CL and G-Dragon), Juun. J, Estée Lauder, and Maybelline, among others, have done in recent years – makes a lot of sense. In addition to the burgeoning appeal of such stars on a more international basis, recent reports suggest that fans of the popular K-pop stars and other Korean media stars put their money where their mouths are. In addition to spending top dollar on concerts, K-pop fans – like other music fans – are buying into the individual K-pop stars’ various other ventures, including fashion.

Big Bang’s Taeyang Teases Photos Of New Fendi Collection (Ready To Spend $9K?)

Taeyang of Big Bang, South Korea’s biggest boy band, and the first K-pop act to be featured on Forbes’ prestigious Celebrity 100 list, is now making his debut in the fashion industry. The 29-year-old K-pop star has partnered with Fendi to design the exclusive capsule collection line “Fendi for Taeyang” which features an array of T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, accessories and sneakers – boasting Taeyang-approved daisy-shaped motifs and positive words like, “Faith,” “Grace,” “Saved,” and “Passion.”

Boasting a 7.4 million social following, the singer took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the campaign with four looks and the caption “#FendixYoungBae #Fendi #YoungBae.” He sported the black “Faith” labeled calfskin backpack, an oversized black “Saved” tee and a shearing red pouch hung from his belt.

The Fendi x TaeYang capsule is set to debut in Hong Kong on July 27 and will be available for pre-sale on starting in July (prices range from $447-$9,490).
