    Seeing him smile and joke around makes me miss him (and all of the other members) on Family Outing Season 1. Never change and always be your goofy, adorkable self Dae!

      i miss family outing , i miss dae in variety show , but with bigbang schedule this year it will be hard for him to be a permanent mc! guess we can't have both world tour & varietys show!!!

        Man, I just really miss Daesung and Yoo Jae Suk's 'Dumb and Dumber'
        friendship so much!

        I think it's better what he's doing now, doing
        interviews, touring with BB, and keeping in contact with fans through
        his blog. He's still making us laugh plus there's nothing stopping
        anyone from re-watching old eps of Family Outing. And you're right we
        can't have both. I think the thing fans are most
        anticipating is a Daesung solo album (some fans have actually been a
        little pushy/aggressive about this). But tbh it's great to see Daesung
        having a work/life balance he's happy with right now and enjoying
        himself. Seems
        like he's taking his time and waiting till he's really rested, settled
        and in the right frame of mind to record which imo is a great/healthy decision for him.
        There's nothing wrong with pushing yourself too like the Great Dragon
        boss but it's good to know that Dae knows his limits and is making
        work decisions that he knows he is comfortable with. Plus with Dae's sense of
        humour and sparkle I think there will always be room in the future for
        him to become a permanent MC. :)

        Anyway it's great to see that he hasn't lost his fantastic sense of
        humour and smile after all that has happened. It seems like VIPs can always depend
        on Dae to bring the LOLs! ^_^

          you are totaly right as much i want his solo album badly and him to return in variety show . as his fan i also know that it was not easy for him to return back. he did it becasue he had bigbang members by his side . standing on stage alone , mcing is something he have to do alone so i will wait till he is ready . after all his fans we are known to be patien and know to wait. we have been wating for his solo since 2009 so a bit more will not hurt us. i'm just happy to see him returning back in being uri cutie & funny dae little by little

            Ah I totally agree!

            I'm not sure if he was a little self-concious even before the things
            last year happened to perform alone on stage but he's been very open and
            honest about how he saw negative comments in blogs/the media after the
            accident and how it definitely negatively affected his state of mind in
            terms of performing solo. If he's still a little anxious about
            performing solo now then I'm glad he's not forcing himself to do
            something he's knows he's not comfortable with and is working on being
            happy and settled before he considers taking on a new solo project or even a combo album with another BB member like GD& TOP (if he's still a little concerned about being solo).

            Anyway I think it's safe to assume that most of the fans (like you!) are
            kind, understanding, patient and want the best for Dae. If we need to
            wait b/c he has to pace himself and take a little time off to smell the
            roses and live life to its fullest (while cracking us all up with his origami and fork bending skills) then
            I'm sure the wait will be worth it in the end. What's important
            is that Dae is happy, healthy and surrounded by positive things... and of course positive
            fans! :)

            Oh yeah and about the MC thing... seems like Dae has been following Seung-ri around this year A LOT (hehe and I guess they're not as awkward together as the used to be)! Could it be that Dae is watching his fellow BB member being victorious on various shows and simply taking notes on how to be a great MC? Hehe I can't be 100% sure but perhaps you'll get your wish and this is a sign we'll be seeing more of Dae MCing in the future when he's settled... ;)

            i just want him to be happy, as his fan i can only respect his wish & decision. the boy have been through so much for his age the last thing he need is pression from his fans too. the only thing we can do is to always support him

            Aaahh.. Somehow i feel warm knowing there are some fans who thinks this way.. Sometimes i kinda pushy too about dae solo. I mean, the other member have their very own solo.
            But, i think it's the best too see Dae enjoying his time not pushing too hard.. There is nothing better than see his smile right?

            And there's nothing wrong with wanting him to release an album at all! It's
            just a little worrying when a few fans (not nice understanding fans like you) post
            comments demanding that he release his solo album now now now... kind of like a
            spoilt kid at Christmas. I'm sure after all this time tones of fans would love him to release a solo album (me included) but I think most fans are thinking more about Daesung's well-being and completely ok with Daesung taking his time too. After hearing Daesung (and the rest of BB) talk openly and honestly about how the accident affected him (especially how sometimes Dae can keep things to himself/be a little withdrawn) it's fantastic to see him out and about traveling and socializing with lots of other people and doing what he promised to do at the start of this year: be positive, keep the fans entertained and make fans proud to be VIPs. Even if there's no solo album he's still bringing a lot of joy through his work with BB and other projects. Considering what he went through last year and the media's treatment of him it's pretty amazing how far he has come this year.

            And yay for supportive positive fans like you! I'm glad to know there are lots of fans out there who support Dae in a more understanding way. :)

      pronounced as D-LAI-TO. "San" is an honorific used in Japan just like

          Me too..That is something I love about Vips..they are not so pushy and so obsessive unlike some other fandoms who think they own their biases..Anyway, Daesung is awesome and I miss his laidback personality. I am so relieved he is back with us after that tragic accident last year...lets give him all of our love, he can definitely use it.
