Wow! I never expected to become such a massive fan of Big Bang or any group for that matter. But the more I learned about Big Bang, the more they amazed me and inspired me. To be honest, I did not start out a fan of all the members but I just naturally ended up becoming one because all the members are really remarkable. They all fought their battles and had their triumphs. And now they all ruin my life on a daily basis (lol jk).
I have only been in the fandom for like 3 years but I think this anniversary is the most meaningful. After what Big Bang and the fandom has been through last year, it means so much that we can stand here to celebrate 6 years. I'm grateful to see Daesung smile. I'm grateful to see Kwon Leader standing strong and proud next to his group members. But mostly, I am grateful to see all the members continuously giving themselves strength and support-- showing us the true meaning of "through thick and thin". I don't believe this past comeback would have been possible if all the members didn't fight very hard to keep the group together and not leave anyone behind. And I believe that's what makes Big Bang a family.
I don't mean to brag, but I did not have a moment of doubt that Big Bang would bounce back from last year. Even in the worst of time, I knew that that was not the end. Not like that. The Big Bang I knew would rise from their ashes only to become stronger (which they did!). But it was still incredibly comforting to see the fandom come together and lean on each other last year. Then, when the EMAs came, we fought together and won together. And I still think that was one of the greatest gifts the fandom could give Big Bang at that time. Even though there are millions of us(and counting), VIP is also a family. <3
