        the government controls & censors everything... including the internet. facebook is blocked too.

          you can tweet through your phone apps. and also, there are open proxies you can use to circumvent the Big Firewall of China. My friends use such services to access restricted sites.

            Yup, I know people there who have to use proxies as well unfortunately. Haruxoxoyuya asked why twitter was blocked, so I was just pointing out that those major social networking sites are frowned upon by the government there.

            yeah, and that's why weibo and renren could become huge competitors to Twitter and Facebook, because 1.5 billion people can access only them :)

            waa.. My hope then (during their concert there): GD and Taeyang are able to tweet, Seungri can update his Me2day or his diary, and Daesung and TOP can also update their me2day. Gezzzz, twitter is the fastest tool to share story from fans who attend their concert....
