I have a feeling that this song isn't even about a girl, I think it's about people in general. People who turned on him when his scandal broke out and the older celebrities that adored him started saying they were dissapointed and such. In an interview after the plagiarism scandal, he said people told him to commit suicide I can only imagine the messages people sent now. Sad

I believe this is the beauty of the lyrics of Monster..It's so much open to different interpretations. If you read it first you think it's about a ended relation but IMO and I agree with you if you read it carefully and know what BB went through last year this is the song about people and media that tried to portray them as monsters....
That's why lyrically (and also musically) Monster is one of the rare songs that captured my heart deeply.
