Big Bang, 'New Song' Preparing a Massive Secret Music Video.. Why?

Five member boy group Big Bang is preparing to film a music video once again for a new song.

According to multiple music officials, Big Bang will be filming a music video from the 18th to the 20th. The song that they are filming for is not from the 5th mini album that was released in February, but rather a new and unreleased song.

Many people are interested already as to why they are starting a new project and filming a new music video just two months after their newest album.

Some are guessing that Big Bang will release a special album with this new song.

Big Bang's company YG Entertainment has told Star News that "It is correct that Big Bang is filming a new music video for a new song" and "We cannot reveal details of this project yet."

Big Bang's 5 mini album's songs "Blue," "Fantastic Baby," and "Bad Boy" were all hits. They have hit record views through overseas fans on Youtube for these music videos as well. Big Bang will also be putting on a World Tour this year as a response to the overseas support.

        Bigbang has a lot of fanboys compared to other Kpop groups. They said BB's music has real quality rather than just synchronized singing and dancing. I heard this from music major graduates..

          I can respond that as a music major, I agree.  When  I look at their music intellectually rather than from just pure enjoyment, they are one of the few popular groups anywhere that doesn't make me cringe at cookie-cutter-ness.  Big Bang <3 !

BIGBANG didn't receive help during their debut or promotions... and they CARRIED it through and even BROKE through it! well even if BIGBANG isn't debuting them.. i have a feeling theyre gnna help the new groups in SOME way.. idk.. it's just a feeling... like how they were used in a promotion tactic for promoting another group's album and debut in Japan.. which a lot of ppl rlly werent happy about.

          They sort of were helped though. Part of their debut was using the YG Family concert and also Se7en (if you watched the BB documentary).

          It's a natural thing for sunbaes to help their dongsaengs in the company. YG helped Seven and Gummy, and Seven/Gummy helped Big Bang, BB helped 2NE1. I'm thinking 2NE1 will probably help the two new groups this time around since BB is busy and they've already taken that route with 2NE1. YG doesn't like to repeat stuff so Big Bang will probably help the new groups in some other way.

        Sorry but your comment almost made my eyes roll. There were plenty of successful artists from YG who helped out BB when they were rookies, so what's wrong with the new groups from YG getting help too? Jeez. You pay your dues as a rookie and then when you're a sunbae, you get to help others. That's just how it works.

        Don't act like the newbies are stealing a "free ride" from Big Bang and that BB is being taken advantage of or being "used". They're all from YG Family so it's not going to be a big deal for BB to help them out. Personally I think it would be rather snobbish if BB didn't help them out in some way. When you have the skills and resources to help someone, you should feel happy to do so.

          there are differences when u help and when u "used" them, sure bigbang got help, a lot, wheesung mentor them singing, se7en always buy them food, teddy helping them writing songs. but that's just it.
          not as far as, sharing their CF together, doing a collab on their debut song (i mean people will eventually buy it cuz bigbang featured in it) share em some spotlight.
          yeah they did it once with 2NE1, im fine with it, maybe just for the "family" sake. just that one time.
          but if they did the same thing again with these new girls idk, i think its obvious they kinda use their popularity.
          i would be HAPPY if GD/bigbang help them w/ the song, or anything else behind the scene, but to go as far as doing collab again and making its MV, just too far..
          first.. bigbang is mad exhausted working their asses off promoting themselves since february, january if its include MV/album recording process.
          second.. i dont think it'll work for the second time. sure bigbang fans will eventually buy the songs (inc. me), cuz its bigbang, but its not good for the girls. knowing kvips are already mad abt bb-2ne1 collabs.

          but anyway, its just speculation, nothing has been out yet.
          and thats above just my opinion IF somehow it happens.

          The thing with wheesung and se7en happened way before their debut.. It was during GD and Youngbae's teenage year as trainee. But as BIGBANG, they debuted by themselves.

          And do roll your eyes but that's how I really think. Exo, Nu'est, BtoB.. they all have popular sunbae too but they debuted on their own. 

          I want to see how well these rookie groups from YG do on their own from the start. How well they can survive on their own among many strong rookies that have debuted so far.

          That's why I dont agree IF YG's going to use BIGBANG again for these rookies debut.

      He said he'll debut the new girl group in the fall. They were supposed to debut during the spring (around this time) but because of the comeback he said he will push back the debuts of the new groups. Don't know if he will keep his word or if he was trolling us... but it's YG after all.

       I hope it's not.. I like how BIGBANG is always the comparison that's made to whenever there is something new being promoted.. meaning BIGBANG is a very capable and GREAT group. BUT, I really hate the fact that YG uses BIGBANG to promote things as well.. it's like.. a good promoting tactic.. but it's just like USING BIGBANG.. and I. HATE. THAT.         I can see why u don't like it...but then if you look at how many artists YG has, it makes so much sense y Big Bang is helping the new gurls out since they can't use 2NE1 b/c they're a girl group too...what are they gonna do with 2 girl groups in a video?! In addition, if they use just a male artists like PSY, Se7en or tablo, it won't be as affective just b/c of the nature of the Korean fans and industry...but then this is all assuming that they are trying to promote the new girl group...they may not...who knows...

          Well, yah.. I see your point too.. altho it's not COMPLETELY not gnna work with 2NE1 and another girl group.. it's not like.. UNCOMMON for two girl groups to collaborate.. but it just might not be so effective.. but Se7en.. MIGHT work.. MIGHT not. so yahh.. but I'm just saying... BIGBANG isn't just helping promote new groups/singers all the time.. they're also used in tactics to promote albums/songs for other singers/groups too... I'm not gnna go into this topic, but yah.. not a lot of ppl are really appreciating BIGBANG BEING used... but not being able to USE anybody else.. but it's actually a good sign.. which shows how much success the boys have gotten just on their own as a group and even as individuals in their solo careers. I'm happy for them. :D Without the help, they've survived and broken through the roof themselves.. nobody could be mor proud than VIPs. :D

But I get what you're saying and surprisingly have no opinion. :P That's just business for you, I guess. Se7en really just introduced themm.. but the newbies TOP, Seungri, and Daesung weren't really known then... only G-Dragon and Taeyang were pretty well-known back then... so I would still credit BIGBANG's debut and promotions and success to themselves.  I mean..           Well I politely disagree with you Anna. I think you're giving too much credit to BB when they debuted as rookies. Yeah they are no doubtedly a great group but they DID have a GREAT deal of help from their sunbaes in the beginning, both during training and after their debut.

          How is HELPING someone being "used"? That outlook is a bit selfish to be honest.

    I was on Wikipedia and they have listed that there is a album for 2012 after the alive album that is TBA. Also, if you click the Alive album and then look at the "Big Bang Chronology" the next album after Alive is called "Big Bang the nonstop mix" ... so maybe there is really another album coming! :]

    It's a new and unreleased song & there's a massive secret about the music video...

    The secret is the new girl group will debut in this song as they're gonna be featuring in BB's new and unreleased song.... What else!!! LOL

    I want a LOVE DUST & EGO music video though! Every day I keep hoping to see news on BBU with something like, EGO official MV or LOVE DUST Official MV you know?! I guess that won't be happening. :( But I'm excited for this NEW SONG !! :P

    I really think it's going to feature the girl group because of the TIMING and YG said PROJECT...

    It's just business and I'm not objected to it as a Big Bang fan, but I don't think it's the smartest idea.

    With 2NE1, their image is very unisex and platonic, with this new girl group, it will evoke drama/jealousy from both sides. People are already bringing TOP's name up because that mystery girl resembles Shin Mi Na. Once the girl group gain male fans, which is the target market YG wants, then a collab will also bring big bang hate.

    But honestly, I can't think of another reason hwy they would shoot at this time...

    If it's special editon...I'll be more dissapointed.

    i mean, using popular sunbaes to help promote the newbies is not just a marketing strategy but also an opportunity.. it would be very unwise for someone to not grab such opening.. 

    in case some of u forgot, YG Entertainment is not merely a music making organization, but it is also a multi million/billion dollar company who still needs to satisfy its shareholders by maximizing the shareholders' wealth..

    so again, whats the big deal? we get new song, we get new mv,  we get to see bigbang in new music video, we get to know yg's new additional family members and we get to see them a whole lot more.. so, why cant u just be happy and support them and wish them all the best?

       well BIGBANG helping the new YG groups promote ISN'T the problem.. the problem is that a lot of people find it to be as if YG is using BIGBANG in too many of these business tactics... like promoting new groups and promoting other artists' new albums, etc. and a lot of people think that it's pretty uncool how YG didn't really have somebody promote BIGBANG at that time they debuted.. but on the bright side, BIGBANG works really hhard considering they were  sorta on their own from the beginning.
