Actress Lee Yeon Hee and Big Bang‘s T.O.P, Taeyang, and Seungri recently completed a ‘hopes-and-dreams’-themed photo shoot in collaboration with outdoors brand The North Face and fashion magazine Singles.
The stars were all dressed in North Face’s down jackets for the shoot, and each had a ‘DREAM’ they were tasked to express through their shots. The idea was that by having the three Big Bang members and Lee Yeon Hee embody certain concepts, it would help fulfill North Face’s hopes and dreams.
Taeyang holds a strong love for both music and his faith, and he dreams of a healthy, functional society. His style for the shoot, therefore, expressed quiet masculinity and strength.
A word that comes to mind for Seungri when he hears ‘Dream’ is ‘Family’. His concept for the shoot was to model various North Face outdoor gear as well as casual looks that would fit people of all ages, genders, and styles.
T.O.P gave a delightful twist to the ‘modern gentleman’ look by dressing in suit that got paired with a down jacket. He proved that a down jacket could look trendy for those in their teens and early 20s, and showed professional working men in their early 30s that a parka could easily compliment a man’s business wear.
Finally, we come to Lee Yeon Hee, whose compassionate heart became the focus of her shot. Though her schedule is often crammed with celebrity events and projects, Lee Yeon Hee sacrifices her free time to visit children in Africa. Her dream was to learn to communicate with these children, and this photo shoot fit her perfectly. In the picture, the actress dons a down parka that’s as warm as her kind heart.
The full pictorials from the North Face photo shoot will be available through a volume edition of Singles magazine, available in November.
