G-Dragon emerges to shoot a TV commercial as scheduled [NEWS]

According to a reliable source, G-Dragon took part in the shooting of the TV commercial for the global outdoor brand North Face on October 5 along with the other members of Big Bang.

When the news came out that G-Dragon was caught for smoking marijuana and had the indictment suspended, the shooting was said to be cancelled. However, the shooting was carried out as arranged.

Someone in the know says, “The advertising world is one of the most sensitive industries about celebrities’ images. As for the case of G-Dragon, however, the contract between Big Bang and North Face is likely not to be vitiated, considering the group’s popularity and the indictment suspended.

Besides North Face, the other brands for which G-Dragon has played a model hardly brought up any question about the trouble so far. The scandal seems not to give a severe battering to the image of G-Dragon.

It is said that the fact that G-Dragon is not a habitual smoker and has his indictment suspended had a crucial role in helping him survive the event.

Earlier, the main TV channels announced that they found no suitable reason to ban him from appearing on TV because his indictment was suspended.

Regardless of the favorable treatments for him, it is said that he has some time for self-restraint and self-reflection for his careless behavior. YG Entertainment made an official announcement on October 5, “G-Dragon could be confident when he was under prosecutor’s investigation because he is not a habitual smoker. That’s why he took part in pre-planned activities as scheduled. We were also surprised to know that the result of drug test with his hair showed a positive reaction.”

He added, “We’ve tried to find out the cause of the result. GD finally recalled the scene: as he attended a drinking party to wish for the success of its Japanese concert tour, he happened to take a few puffs strongly offered by a young Japanese fan not to offend the fan.”

The agency also gave words of apology: “We know that famous public figures have a duty to behave in an exemplary manner. In that sense, we deeply regret the mistake we did and introspect. I bow my head, and extend my sincere apology.”

The prosecution says, “G-Dragon is a first-time offender, and deeply reflected what he mistakenly did. All things considered, we decided to have his indictment suspended.”

    i quote what i saw on twitter - YG giving false information abt BB's photoshoot being cancelled so that media wouldn't thrive on GD on the set. that would definitely make him feel not as bad. not to mention the YG family members who turned up on the set to give support to GD! this scandal will definitely bring YG family as well as VIPs closer together!

    I'm happy that the photoshoot turn out well and that any brand that BigBang is endorsing  not approched YGE regarding to this issue,they still trust BigBang and YGE. All those issue and news about G-Dragon has been blown-out of proportion to make it BIG and make him look BAD. G-Dragon and BIGBANG FIGHTING!!!!

    What is up with this misconception about Kvips?

    I don't understand how the Ivips seem to think that the Kvips are a bunch of uptight people.

    The Korean fans aren't harsh on GD.

    It's the antis who are saying crap about GD. Some even pretending to be fans to troll on commments.

    Kvips are just laying on the down low to protect GD. If they keep commenting and fighting with the antis, this ''scandal'' will keep being blown out of proportion.

    The majority of Kvips are GD stans anyway.

    They stood by him back in 2009 and they'll keep standing by him.
