Daesung to join YG Family for year-end concert [NEWS]

After months of laying low, Big Bang's Daesung will finally be re-joining his group at the end of this year.

YG Entertainment typically holds a YG Family concert around December, featuring all of the popular YG artists. This year is no exception with three concerts scheduled for Seoul (Olympic Hall) alone on December 3-4th, each show expected to draw in 40,000 fans. The group will then head to Japan for concerts on January 7-8 at the Osaka Colosseum expected to attract about 80,000 people. Finally, two more shows, each slating for another 80,000 concert-goers, will take place at the Saitama Super Arena on January 21-22.

This year will be all the more special as it is the 15th anniversary of YG Entertainment. Not only that, it's the first time for a YG Family concert to be held overseas since their 10 year anniversary.

Those lucky enough to catch the show can expect to see some of the biggest names in k-pop: Se7en, Gummy, Big Bang, 2NE1, PSY, Tablo, and more.

This will be the first time Daesung is stepping out into the public eye following his car accident in May which was initially linked with the death of a motorcyclist. However, with his fellow group mate G-dragon under fire for marijuana usage, it's not yet clear if the group's leader will also be joining in on the festivities.

Ticket sales will start October 27th.

    BB is 5, without any of them is not complete.
    I wish GD will attend as well..But heard from somewhere else that GD and BB's future activity is still undetermined at this stage. YG is still trying to sort out their problem of getting listed to the stock market, for the first half of the year, 20% of YG income come from BB concert, and together with their Advertisements and other stuffs around 50% of YG income is associated with BB. GD's issue sure made a big effect to YG...
    I don't know, but a lot of KVIPS are really pissed with YG lately.... It's great to see Dae back and having a family concert..But if someone is missing, the family is not complete. 
    I just want a complete BB, and that's my only wish at the moment

    but maybe he will, they can't announce that his performing when the issue is still there waiting to be brought up.
    the issue needs to calm first if not forgotten completely.
    maybe next month they'll just pop the bubble and say Big Bang is back and complete..

    yups we VIPs just have to be patient and hope for the best.. remember YG said Dae will come back in 2012 but now he's coming back to us 1 month earlier.. YG gave us the worst scenario so we won't expect too much but now this is like a present to us,..

    it is unfortunate what happened to Ji came at this time.. the yg family concerts were probably planned long beforehand.. just waiting to be announced now.. i have faith we will see the complete BB by 3rd dec, but if not, i trust we will see them again soon in early 2012.. BB will stay together despite all that's happened even though everyone else is saying they will disband, i will choose not to be affected and put my trust in the boys we have grown to love and support over the years.

    I want to know how Daesung is feeling about all of this and if he's actually ready for the spotlight any time soon. I hope it was ll his choice and he's faring better. Questions is, are we happy that he's going back on stage because he truly wants to come back so soon? Or we just happy to see him on stage because that's what we think he wants?
     I truly do want to be happy for him. I really do... If that's what he actually wants and not just what the fans think he wants.
