I guess it is supposed to have a "Fame" like appeal and they probably bought the rights to some of the songs to use them since they fit.
But it's not quite. It is supposed to be like "Glee" in college. They might have used some of the fame songs because like in "Fame" it is an arts school, just in college.

Hopefully it will be aired soon. Supposedly it still does not have any network to air on yet. But to film without even having a network planned, it has to have some powerful backing.
The drama itself is centered around multiple people and not just one person in particular. But Dae is one of the main characters. As for a love interest...I think he will have one, since it is supposed to be about everything they have happen and you saw how he ran to that girl's side...hmmm...love triangle maybe?

so the girl that daesung ran to was the same girl that was sitting next to him while saying words really fast(2:32-2:40)? and also that guy(2:40)looked like the main character because he was mostly in the teaser . in the teaser i didnt hear Daesung talk even once . but i'll wait for the drama , i'll watch every single episode . and i want to see if daesung has a kissing scene , me and my cousin thinks he will .
