YG, “G-Dragon’s concert too obscene? Contrary to the freedom of expression” [NEWS]

Posted by on July 20, 2010

It is known that YG Entertainment has applied for the *위헌법률제청 on 16th July in Seoul East District Court under the regulations of public performance.

That day, YG’s representative Yang HyunSeok and the public performance team leader Jung (35) went through the first trial for the case of GDragon’s concert performance being criticised to contain too much sexual references.

Their legal representative Jung KyungSeok said, “This case goes against the rights for freedom of expression stated under the amended regulations of public performances. By the ratings by age, the concert can be viewed by teenagers above 18.”

Meanwhile, ahead of this in March, GDragon’s solo concert has been slammed with criticisms of having too many sexual reference which pose as a harm to the teenagers who attended the concert.

*Translator's note: 위헌법률제청 - From my understanding, this is a request for the court to reassess the case whereby the defendant has been ruled for violation of a law

Let the guy rest people. It's 2010 already. Enough is enough. GD didn't do anything obscene or what not. That depends on how the people look at it. I mean hello, if they watch the concert cause they want to see the guy perform and said IT WAS A GREAT SHOW, obscenity isn't there people. Enough. Let GD think straight and enjoy his year.

Why do people make it such a big deal? If its harmful for your teenagers then don't let them go, its as simple as that. No need to criticize someone for that. Its not like he was naked on stage or anything. Geez! Move on. GD FIGHTING! ^_^

Aww. Too bad for Ji, he just did what he think is good for the concert and yet he is being criticized. Honestly, his concert is definitely remembered and loved. The concept is really exceptional, long way to go Ji. We'll always support you. Fighting!!
