Talk on Taeyang's Beard [NEWS]

During the VIP Premiere on Into the Fire at Konkuk University, male idol group, Big Bang's Taeyang had a different eye-catching look. Taeyang who was sporting a beard was able to draw attention with his mature appearance.

BIGBANG member Taeyang [real name Dong Young Bae] with a noticeably different appearance, is now a trending topic heating up the on-line discussion community.

On June 10th, all of BIGBANG [G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang, Daesung, Seungri] members attended the VIP Premiere of 「71-Into the Fire」at the movie theater to celebrate the debut of fellow member TOP [real name, Choi Seung Hyun] in the film.

Even though BIGBANG was together doing a group activity but all eyes and attention of the fans were fixated on member, Taeyang. Taeyang appeared with a short stubble/beard covering his chin and also scrapings on the nose giving him a rugged look.

One netizen who caught this "publish on-the-spot photo" to on-line community and then nicknamed Taeyang's appearance as "HairyYoungBae" which led to a tense disagreement among the fans.

Netizens who came in contact with the photograph, poured negative reactions such as "seems better to shave the beard off", "do not forget, you are still an Idol", "dirty" and etc. While on the other hand, some Netizens reacted positively to Taeyang's new appearance with comments such as "its simply stylish and fabulous", "it is fine, a man with beard", "very man" and etc.

    i'm glad he doesn't follow rules that way. i like how in kpop, his music stands out in his own unique way. BB stands out like that, yes they might consider themselves idols but as you can obviously tell, BB doesnt like to follow rules that way. you can see it from their fashion, you can hear it from their music. tae yang is an artist. let him express himself in his own way.

    He looks very boyish when he's clean-shaven, so I think he looks very manly with the stubble. Also, it's not like he's going to grow a Santa Clause beard any time soon. Plus, it's probably a hassle to shave his face all the time. I know a lot of us girls do not look forward to shaving our legs when the time comes xD

    maybe he just forgot to shave. aft all they were busy with their japan activities and they had to fly back for the premiere. i dont get why pple make such a fuss abt a trivial thing. and to say things like "dirty" is totally uncallled for. idols are humans too.
